D1015 'WESTERN CHAMPION' is seen at Reading with UK Railtours 1Z27 'Great Western 175' from London Paddington to Minehead. The return working back to London Paddington was steam hauled with GWR 4-6-0 6024 'KING EDWARD 1'. The railtour was run as part of the GWR 175 celebrations, and featured locomotives that were very much part of Western Region front line services in their respective eras. |
